Frequently Asked Questions

  • If you are planning to attend the conference as a delegate, online registration will be open until July 15, 2026, and on-site registration will also be possible during the conference, subject to availability.
    Registration will be available via the conference website. We strongly recommend registering as early as possible once the registration system opens. Early registration will allow the conference organizers to share important information with you in advance (e.g., access to abstracts, program updates, and practical details).

  • For on-site participants, the registration fee includes:

    • access to all conference sessions (keynote lectures, panel discussions, and regular sessions),
    • access to the conference recordings for two weeks after the event,
    • morning and afternoon refreshments,
    • a light lunch,
    • a certificate of participation.

    For online participants, the registration fee includes:

    • access to the live stream of all keynote lectures and panel discussions (online participation is passive; online participants will not be able to present, ask questions, or comment during sessions),
    • access to the conference recordings for two weeks after the event,
    • a certificate of participation.

  • Tickets for the gala dinner can be purchased through the conference registration system.
    Please note that the number of seats for the gala dinner is limited, so we strongly encourage you to purchase your ticket as early as possible to ensure availability.

  • Yes, you are welcome to bring a guest to the gala dinner. Additional tickets can be purchased through the conference registration system, subject to availability.

  • Smart casual.

  • If you are not able to register via PayPal, please email us at conference@fcl.org.pl so we can provide you with an alternative method to pay for your registration.

  • The board measures approximately 110cm (width) x 155cm (length). This equals about 43inches (width) x 61inches (length). Therefore we suggest the poster format A1. The size of A1 is 594 x 841 mm or 59.4 x 84.1 cm, which is 23.4 x 33.1 inches. The organizers will provide pins.

  • Upon arrival at the conference, on-site participants will receive:

    • a printed conference program with presentation titles,
    • a name badge, which must be worn throughout the conference hours.
    If you have purchased a ticket (or tickets) for the gala dinner, these will also be included in your conference package.
    Certificates of participation will be provided electronically to all registered participants after the conference.

  • Yes. All registered participants will receive access to the full book of abstracts prior to the conference via a download link sent by email.
    Selected abstracts for keynote lectures and invited presentations will also be made available on the conference website ahead of the event.

  • The availability of handouts or presentation materials is at the discretion of individual presenters. Some presenters may choose to share their materials with participants after the conference, while others may not.

  • Yes. The gala dinner (an additional ticket is required) will take place July 25, 2026 on, in the evening.

  • Yes. Conference participants are invited to submit their articles to a special issue of the journal Forum Lingwistyczne [Forum of Linguistics] (Volume 15, Issue 2, 2027), published by the University of Silesia Press.
    The special issue will focus on stuttering and cluttering. Manuscripts may be submitted in English or Polish. Articles written in English will be published in English. All submissions will undergo a double-blind peer-review process and, once accepted, will be published in open access.
    Submission deadline: December 31, 2026
    Submissions should be made via the journal’s Open Journal Systems (OJS): https://journals.us.edu.pl/index.php/FL
    The full issue will be published in the second half of 2027, with articles appearing online on a rolling basis once accepted.
